AIApply review and 7 alternatives in 2026

What AIApply does, what it costs once you get past the missing pricing page, what Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau show, and seven alternatives ranked on criteria stated before the list. Everything was read on 15 October 2026. One thing to know first: AIApply’s flagship is auto-apply, and the tool ranked first here does not auto-apply. If auto-apply is what you want, see our auto-apply ranking, which compares only tools that send applications for you.

What is the best AIApply alternative in 2026?

Lumyhired is the best AIApply alternative if you want each application tailored to one posting: it adapts a master resume to every offer, checks that it parses, and tracks what you send, from €5 a week with a published price. It does not auto-apply. If automatic sending is the point, LoopCV is the only auto-apply tool here with a free plan and every price published, and JobCopilot tailors the resume per application on its Elite plan. AIApply has no pricing page; its own comparison page puts the base plan near $29 a month, credits extra.

Lumyhired publishes this page and ranks itself first, so weigh the criteria against what you need. Published 15 October 2026. Prices read on each vendor’s pages that day.

What is AIApply?

AIApply is a job application platform whose headline feature is Auto Apply: you set the roles, locations and salary you want, and it finds matching listings, writes a tailored resume and cover letter for each, and submits the application for you. Its site footer names the company as AIApply Ltd, company number 15200716, registered in Leicester in the UK.

Around auto-apply sits a suite of tools, listed on its home page on 15 October 2026: an AI resume builder, an AI cover letter generator, AI interview practice, Interview Buddy (live answer suggestions during a real interview, “through your earpiece or screen”), a job board advertised as “20M+ Jobs”, a resume translator, a LinkedIn-to-resume converter and a resume scanner. The site comes in 13 language versions: English (US and UK), German, Spanish, Slovak, Portuguese, French, Czech, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish and Italian. Its FAQ says you can review drafts before they are sent.

The home page also makes four performance claims: “Loved by 2,064,348 users”, “372,241+ roles applied to”, “61% of users get an interview in first 10 days”, and “You are 80% more likely to get a job faster if you use AIApply”. None of them comes with a method, a period or a sample on the page. The two counters measure different things, and the page does not say over what time they were counted.

How much does AIApply cost in 2026?

About $29 a month for the base plan, by AIApply’s own account, plus auto-apply credits whose price it does not publish. There is no pricing page: on 15 October 2026, aiapply.co/pricing returned a 301 redirect to the home page. The prices are set inside the product, after you create an account.

What the public pages do say: the FAQ describes a Premium (or Pro) subscription billed monthly or yearly, with a discount for yearly billing; auto-apply credits sold in packs, “e.g., 100 or 250”, which you can bundle with Premium; and a discounted plan for students. The Terms of Service add a tier the FAQ does not mention, “Search Only”, which includes job search and matching without auto-apply. The only dollar figures anywhere on aiapply.co are on its own “AIApply vs LoopCV” page: Free at $0, and Pro at “~$29/mo or ~$12/mo (annual)”, with 5 auto-apply credits to start.

Two panels. Published on aiapply.co: a free account with a limited free tier, Premium billed monthly or yearly, a base plan near $29 a month or near $12 a month yearly, auto-apply as credits at one credit per application, refund rules in its Terms of Service. Not published: a pricing page, since /pricing redirects to the home page; the price of a credit pack; the source of the 4.7 rating on its auto-apply page; a method for the claim that 61% get an interview in 10 days.

Because the price is hidden, the reviews of AIApply we read each quote a different one. The table below puts the four figures we could trace side by side, with who published each and when. All three outside sources compete with AIApply, so read their numbers as competitor claims.

What AIApply costs, according to who you ask. Each page read on 15 October 2026. Of the three outside sources, only Careery dates its price check.

AIApply, on its own AIApply vs LoopCV page~$29 a month, or ~$12 a month billed yearlyPacks of e.g. 100 or 250, price not stated; 5 credits included with ProUndated; read 15 October 2026
Careery (sells application services)$29 a month; Search Only $12 a month$49 a month for 100 applications, $99 a month for 250, $199 a quarter for 750Sources checked 9 October 2026
Resumly (sells a rival tool)~$29 a month, ~$16 a month billed yearly$10 for 10, $39 for 100, $79 for 250Page updated 13 June 2026
Adzuna (promotes its own ApplyIQ)~$23 a month$39 for 100, $79 for 250Published 15 October 2025, price undated

Three of the four put the base plan at about $29 a month; Adzuna, the oldest, says $23. On auto-apply they describe two different products: one-off packs at $39 for 100 credits (Resumly and Adzuna) or a monthly plan at $49 for 100 applications (Careery, the most recent of the three). The yearly rate is $12 a month on AIApply’s page and $16 on Resumly’s. The honest budget for a month of auto-apply is the base plan plus a pack, which these sources put somewhere between $62 and $78, and the exact figure only appears at checkout.

Is auto-apply included in AIApply, or an add-on?

An add-on. AIApply’s FAQ says Premium covers the resume builder, cover letters, interview prep, the job board, the scanner and the translator, and that “the only à la carte component is Auto-Apply credits”. One credit sends one application, and its comparison page says credits never expire, which suits a search that runs in bursts. The Pro plan includes 5 credits to start.

Two details deserve a careful read before you buy. First, the FAQ answer about the free tier lists auto-apply among the things you get by upgrading, while the pricing answer two questions later says credits are bought separately. The comparison page settles it: credits are extra. Second, credits are spent as applications go out, and auto-apply runs every day. A one-star review on Trustpilot in October 2026 said all the credits were used within a day; AIApply replied that the daily application limit can be set in the settings. Set that limit before the first run.

Then read section 10 of the Terms of Service: “Auto-Apply is a non-refundable product”, and refunds are not available once applications have been submitted.

Is AIApply legit? What Trustpilot and the BBB show

AIApply is a real company with a working product and a large, mostly positive Trustpilot following. Its BBB record and its refund terms are the weak points, and the one-star reviews cluster around billing.

Four cards: Trustpilot score 4.3 from 1,997 reviews, labelled Excellent; one-star share 11% against 66% five-star and 18% four-star, with replies to 74% of negative reviews; BBB rating F, not accredited; 6 BBB complaints filed in the last 3 years plus 3 customer reviews.
Source: Trustpilot profile for aiapply.co and BBB profile for AiApply.co, both read 15 October 2026. Original diagram.

Trustpilot. On 15 October 2026 the profile showed a TrustScore of 4.3 from 1,997 reviews, labelled Excellent, with 1,148 reviews in the previous 12 months. The split was 66% five-star, 18% four-star, 3% three-star, 2% two-star and 11% one-star. The profile has been claimed since October 2024, and Trustpilot notes that AIApply invites its customers to review, that it replied to 74% of negative reviews and typically replies within two weeks. Resumly, a competitor, wrote in June 2026 that the profile carried a warning about review collection; we saw no such warning on 15 October 2026. Trustpilot itself states that it does not fact-check reviews.

The recent one-star reviews, read as individual accounts, repeat four complaints: a renewal charge followed by a refused refund; applications sent to roles below the stated level, in the wrong industry, or with a previous employer’s name left in the resume; credits used up within a day; and a monthly charge where the reviewer expected a weekly one. AIApply replied to each and offered to review the account.

Better Business Bureau. The BBB profile for AiApply.co, listed under Virtual Assistant Employment with an address in Berkeley, California, showed a rating of F, “Not BBB Accredited”, 6 complaints filed in the last 3 years and 3 customer reviews. The page we read did not display the reasons for the grade. Careery, a competitor that sells application services, reported on 9 October 2026 that the BBB cites a failure to respond to 5 of the 6 complaints; treat that as Careery’s claim.

The terms behind the complaints. AIApply’s Terms of Service, updated 7 September 2026, say fees are non-refundable unless the law or a service’s own terms require otherwise. Refunds may be granted for an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes with no meaningful use, or for a verified technical issue. Renewals are “generally not available” for refund, and a subscription must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. UK buyers also waive the usual 14-day cancellation right by requesting immediate access. Four of the seven most recent one-star reviews we read on 15 October 2026 involve a refused or disputed refund, and they describe these rules being applied.

What does AIApply do well, and where does it fall short?

Its strength is breadth. Its weak points are price transparency and control over what gets sent.

  • Breadth. Auto-apply, resume and cover letter writing, mock interviews, live interview help, a job board and a translator sit behind one login.
  • Languages. Thirteen language versions of the site, and a resume translator for applications abroad.
  • Credits that wait. Credits do not expire, per its comparison page, so a pause in your search does not waste them.
  • Responsiveness. AIApply replied to 74% of negative Trustpilot reviews, and the replies we read were specific.

Where it falls short:

  • No price before sign-up. You cannot compare it with anything without creating an account, and outside reviews put the base plan anywhere from $23 to $29 a month.
  • Strict refund terms. Thirty minutes for an accidental purchase, no refunds on renewals as a rule, none on auto-apply once sent.
  • Claims without method. The 61% and 80% figures on the home page, and the “Excellent 4.7” on its auto-apply page, name no source or sample.
  • Targeting complaints. Applications to the wrong level or industry are the most specific complaint in recent one-star reviews.

Auto-apply or tailored applications: which gets more interviews?

Per application, tailored ones did about twice as well in the largest public dataset we found.

Huntr’s Q1 2026 report covers 139,927 applications from 25,635 job seekers. Applications sent with a tailored resume converted to an interview at 4.23%, against 2.07% for a base resume. People who sent 11 to 20 applications in total got interviews at 9.25% per application, against 2.58% for those who sent more than 100. Huntr sells resume tailoring and its users are not a random sample, so treat this as a correlation from vendor data.

Run the numbers both ways. A hundred applications with a base resume at 2.07% is about 2 interviews. Thirty tailored applications at 4.23% is about 1.3. Raw count favours volume only when every one of those hundred is a job you would take, and off-level applications are the complaint that recurs in AIApply’s one-star reviews. Tailoring costs time per application and gives you a resume you have read before it leaves.

If you want the volume route, the tools built for it are compared in the best auto-apply tools. If you want the other route, the method is in how to tailor your resume to a job description, and a realistic weekly target is worked out in how many jobs to apply to.

How did we rank these AIApply alternatives?

On what each vendor publishes on its own pages, read on 15 October 2026. We did not run a scored test of each tool’s output, so nothing here claims one tool writes better resumes than another. Six criteria, in order of weight:

  1. Tailoring per application. How much each application is adapted to the posting it goes to.
  2. Price published before sign-up. The test AIApply fails.
  3. Refund and renewal terms in writing. How long the window is and what it covers.
  4. Control over what is sent. Whether you review each application, or set caps that hold.
  5. A free way to test. A free plan or trial, stated to the unit.
  6. English and French. For people applying in the US, the UK or France.

Auto-apply tools are ranked on the same criteria as the others, which puts them lower on the first one. Readers who weigh volume first will find a different order in the auto-apply ranking linked above, where Lumyhired is deliberately not listed.

  1. 1. Lumyhired

Best for: Tailored applications, one posting at a time, in English or French

Price on 15 October 2026: No free plan. Weekly plans at €5 (Starter), €8 (Pro) and €13 (Hunt), with a 3-day money-back guarantee. The ATS preview is free with no account.

    What it does well

    • One feed of offers aggregated from Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor, from employer career sites hosted on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Workday, and from France Travail and Welcome to the Jungle, among other sources.
    • Offers older than 3 days are hidden by default, with a switch to show them, so the feed opens on roles still worth applying to. Saved offers stay visible.
    • Each offer carries a match score, and a contract filter covers permanent, fixed-term, freelance, work-study and internship roles (the last two are off by default).
    • You upload one master resume and it is adapted to each offer: the posting’s keywords, in a layout an applicant tracking system can read, then an ATS check before you send it yourself.
    • Every application lands in a kanban tracker with reminders, and interview preparation sits next to it. The price is public before you sign up.

    Worth knowing

    • It does not auto-apply. You send each application yourself, so it is the wrong tool for hundreds of applications a day.
    • A newer, smaller brand than AIApply, with far less third-party review coverage to read before you decide.
    • No free plan, no browser extension and no mobile app.
  2. 2. Teal

Best for: Tailoring each resume by hand, free

Price on 15 October 2026: Free forever plan. Teal+ costs $13 every 7 days, $29 every 30 days or $79 every 90 days, no credit card required to start.

    What it does well

    • The free plan gives unlimited resumes and unlimited job tracking, so you can keep one version per posting at no cost.
    • Attach a job description and Teal highlights its keywords: the top 5 on the free plan, all of them on Teal+, which adds a match score.
    • You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, per its pricing page, and starting Teal+ needs no card.

    Worth knowing

    • No auto-apply. Teal helps you write each application; you still send every one.
    • Free AI credits are small: 10 for resume bullets, 2 for summaries, 2 for cover letters.
    • $13 every 7 days is the dearest way to buy Teal+. The 90-day plan works out at $26.33 per 30 days.

  3. 3. LoopCV

Best for: Auto-apply with every cap and price on the page

Price on 15 October 2026: Free plan. Standard €14.99 a month or €12 a month billed €36 every 3 months; Premium €24.99, or €20 a month billed €60 quarterly; Done For You €87.99, or €65.99 a month billed €197.97 quarterly.

    What it does well

    • Every plan, price and cap is printed on its pricing page, which is the clearest contrast with AIApply.
    • The free plan includes 1 job-title search, up to 10 applications or emails a month, 3 job boards and 2 AI CV checks.
    • Paid caps are explicit: up to 100 applications or emails a month on Standard and 300 on Premium, across 20 job boards. Premium adds AI answers to screening questions and jobs sourced from company career pages.
    • Its pricing FAQ offers a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used no more than 10% of the plan’s application quota.

    Worth knowing

    • Ten applications a month on the free plan is enough to test the matching and little more.
    • Its page title says plans start at €9.99 a month, while the lowest price on the plan cards was €12 on the quarterly plan. Check the checkout total.
    • The free plan searches 3 job boards against 20 on paid plans, and its applications go out at low priority.

  4. 4. JobCopilot

Best for: Auto-apply that tailors the resume per application

Price on 15 October 2026: Premium from $0.93 a day, Elite from $1.05 a day. The page says weekly, monthly and quarterly plans exist without listing their totals. No free plan shown.

    What it does well

    • The Elite plan tailors your resume for every application and adds credits to contact hiring managers.
    • Applications can be saved for review before they go, and you train the copilot on your edits.
    • It says it checks over 500,000 company career pages a day and has more than 100,000 users. The site comes in 7 languages, French included.

    Worth knowing

    • Only “starts from” daily rates are published. At $0.93 a day, Premium is about $28.29 a month (× 365 ÷ 12), or €25.24 at the ECB rate of 15 October 2026, the highest published entry price in this list.
    • No free plan appears on the pricing page, and no refund terms either.
    • Premium stops at 20 job matches a day and Elite at 50.

  5. 5. Jobright

Best for: AI job matching first, with auto-apply as an option

Price on 15 October 2026: Free to try. No paid price published on its public pages on 15 October 2026; plans appear after sign-up.

    What it does well

    • Matching is the core of the product. It says it holds 8,000,000+ jobs, adds 400,000+ a day and has 3,000,000 users.
    • Its AI agent finds matching roles, customises your resume and applies for you, and its autofill works, in its words, “across all major ATS platforms”.
    • You can start free, with a job-specific tailored resume and suggestions of insider connections at each company.

    Worth knowing

    • Like AIApply, it publishes no price before sign-up, which fails the same test this page holds AIApply to.
    • Claims such as “3x interviews landed” and “No.1 choice for 80% of job seekers” carry no method or sample on the page.

  6. 6. LazyApply

Best for: One yearly payment for high-volume auto-apply

    Price on 15 October 2026: Basic $99 a year (15 applications a day), Premium $149 a year (150 a day), Ultimate $999 a year (1,500 a day). 30-day refund policy. No free plan.

    What it does well

    • You pay once a year. Over a long search, $99 works out at $8.25 a month.
    • It applies on Greenhouse, Dice, Indeed and ZipRecruiter, per its pricing page.
    • Its 30-day refund window is the longest in this list.

    Worth knowing

    • No free plan, and each plan must be attached to a Gmail account.
    • Built for volume: even Basic sends up to 15 a day, and the pricing page says nothing about tailoring each application.
    • A full year up front, even if your search lasts six weeks.

    Source: https://lazyapply.com/pricing

  7. 7. Kickresume

Best for: The lowest price for a well-designed resume

Price on 15 October 2026: Free plan. Premium shown in euros to our visitor in France: €24 a month, €18 a month billed €54 quarterly, or €8 a month billed €96 a year. 14-day money-back guarantee.

    What it does well

    • €8 a month on the yearly plan is the lowest price among the resume builders on this page.
    • The free plan has 4 resume templates, 4 matching cover letters, 20,000 pre-written phrases and unlimited downloads.
    • Premium adds 40+ templates, an AI writer, an ATS resume checker and iOS and Android apps. Students and teachers can get Premium free.

    Worth knowing

    • No auto-apply, job feed or tracker appears on its pricing page. You find and send every application yourself.
    • The ATS checker and the AI writer are Premium only.

Which AIApply alternative should you pick?

Pick Lumyhired when you want fewer applications, each adapted to the posting and tracked, in English or French, at a price you can read before signing up.

Pick Teal when you want to tailor each resume yourself and pay nothing, or $79 for 90 days of Teal+.

Pick LoopCV when you want auto-apply with a free plan and every cap written down, from €12 a month on the quarterly plan.

Pick JobCopilot when you want auto-apply that tailors the resume to each application and you will check the period total at checkout.

Pick Jobright when matching quality is what you are after and auto-apply is a bonus, accepting that the price appears only after sign-up.

Pick LazyApply when you want maximum volume for one yearly payment, with 30 days to ask for your money back.

Pick Kickresume when the resume design matters most and you will find and send the applications yourself.

Stay on AIApply when you use several of its tools, you have set a daily cap, and you check where the first applications went.

The tailoring tools are compared on their own in the best AI for resume tailoring.

What should you check before paying for any job application tool?

Five checks, each one drawn from a complaint or a clause on this page. They apply to every tool above, ours included.

  1. Find the total before you enter a card. If there is no pricing page, take a screenshot of the checkout screen, including the billing period. One recent one-star review of AIApply describes a weekly price that billed as a month.
  2. Read the refund clause in the terms. AIApply’s give 30 minutes for an accidental purchase; LoopCV’s give 7 days under 10% use; LazyApply’s give 30 days; Kickresume’s 14.
  3. Put the renewal date in your calendar. AIApply requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the period ends. Set a reminder two days ahead.
  4. Cap auto-apply and audit the first ten. Set the lowest daily limit, then open the first ten applications it sends: level, industry, location, and the resume version attached. Raise the cap only when all ten are jobs you would take.
  5. Read the resume it sends. A tool that rewrites your resume for each job can carry over a detail from the last one. One recent review found a previous employer’s name in a resume sent to another company.

Frequently asked questions

Is AIApply legit?

Yes, in the sense that it is a registered company with a working product: its site names AIApply Ltd, company number 15200716, in Leicester, UK, and its Trustpilot profile showed a TrustScore of 4.3 from 1,997 reviews on 15 October 2026. Its weak points are billing. The BBB rates it F and not accredited, with 6 complaints in three years, and its Terms of Service make most fees non-refundable. Read those terms before you buy credits.

Is AIApply worth it?

It is worth it if you want auto-apply plus writing and interview tools in one account and you will watch where it applies. It is a poor fit if you need to know the full price before paying, since aiapply.co publishes no pricing page, or if your search depends on a small number of well-aimed applications. Several recent one-star reviews mention irrelevant applications and refused refunds.

How much does AIApply cost per month?

AIApply’s own comparison page puts its Pro plan at about $29 a month, or about $12 a month billed yearly, with 5 auto-apply credits to start. Auto-apply is extra and sold as credit packs whose price it does not publish. Competitor reviews quote $39 for 100 credits (Resumly, Adzuna) or $49 a month for 100 applications (Careery). Expect the exact figure only at checkout.

Does AIApply have a free plan or a free trial?

It has a free account and no timed trial. Its FAQ describes a limited free tier for trying core tools, such as a sample cover letter and the job board, and its comparison page lists the free plan as unlimited cover letters, the resume scanner and full job board access. Auto-apply requires paid credits.

Can I get a refund from AIApply?

Rarely, under its Terms of Service updated 7 September 2026. Fees are non-refundable unless the law or a service’s own terms say otherwise. Exceptions: an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes with no meaningful use, or a verified technical issue. Renewals are generally not refunded, cancellation must happen at least 24 hours before the period ends, and auto-apply is non-refundable once applications are sent.

AIApply vs Lumyhired: which should I use?

They solve different problems. AIApply sends applications for you, in volume, and charges for each one through credits. Lumyhired does not auto-apply: it adapts your master resume to each offer, checks it parses, and tracks what you send, from €5 a week with a published price and a 3-day money-back guarantee. If you want applications sent for you, AIApply or the auto-apply tools above fit better.

Is there a free AIApply alternative?

Several free plans cover part of what AIApply does, all read on 15 October 2026. LoopCV’s free plan sends up to 10 applications or emails a month. Teal’s free plan gives unlimited resumes and job tracking with keyword highlights. Kickresume’s free plan gives 4 templates and unlimited downloads. Jobright is free to try. None of them gives you unlimited auto-apply at no cost.

Is there an AIApply alternative that works in French?

JobCopilot’s site comes in 7 languages, French included, and LoopCV’s site has a French version. AIApply’s own site has 13 language versions, French among them. Lumyhired also works in English and French, and its feed includes France Travail and Welcome to the Jungle.

Where Lumyhired fits

Lumyhired brings offers from Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor, employer career sites on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Workday, France Travail and Welcome to the Jungle, among other sources, into one feed with a match score, adapts your master resume to each offer, checks that an ATS can read it, and tracks every application in a kanban with reminders and interview preparation. It does not apply for you. Plans are €5, €8 and €13 a week on the pricing page, with a 3-day money-back guarantee and no free plan. To see what a parser extracts from your current resume first, the ATS preview is free and needs no account; the full ATS resume checker compares your resume with a specific posting.
